Plauener Straßenbahn GmbH is celebrating "130 years of electric trams" in 2024.
The event "Kleine Straßenbahn - ganz groß" on 25 and 26 May 2024 in the festival hall in Plauen is the kick-off event for the 2024 celebrations.
The Plauener Straßenbahn Traditionsverein e. V. and Plauener Straßenbahn GmbH invite you to the 20th exhibition of model trams, an exchange of experiences on model trams and a souvenir sale under the motto "The tram is a great experience".V. and Plauener Straßenbahn GmbH invite you to the 20th exhibition of model trams, an exchange of experiences on model trams and a souvenir sale under the motto "Small trams - really big". More than 40 exhibitors and over 180 participants from all over Europe will come together in the Plauen festival hall. It is the largest exhibition of model trams in Europe. Models of all gauges will be on display, from TT to garden railway size. Most of the layouts are on a scale of 1:87. The layouts show themes and motifs from Europe and America.
Over the course of the year, further events are organised around the theme of trams.
On 21 September 2024, Plauener Straßenbahn GmbH will open its doors to all interested visitors.
On 22 September 2024, the tram parade will then travel through Plauen.
