International Instrumental Competition

More than 100 outstanding young musicians from over 30 countries, four exciting public competition rounds in the violin and viola disciplines, hands-on musical instrument making in the center of German orchestral instrument making and a varied supporting program with concerts, demonstrations and exhibitions - that's the Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition 2025. For its 60th anniversary, it invites you from May 8 to 17, 2025 to the city of music in the heart of the Upper Vogtland and offers a platform for musical excellence, embedded in the special atmosphere of the city with a 350-year tradition in musical instrument making.
