The new special exhibition at the Karl May Museum will open on May 23, 2025. The Karl May Foundation with its museum in Radebeul and the "Komische Meister Dresden" gallery called on artists from all over the German-speaking world to pay tribute to the 150th literary birthday of the most famous - albeit fictitious - Apache chief Winnetou in a humorous way and with a sharp pen. The approximately 80 best caricatures and cartoons submitted by the participating artists will be exhibited until October 19, 2025.
The Winnetou Cartoon Prize 2025 "On the trail of wit!", which is endowed with a total of 1,500 euros and donated by Sparkasse Radebeul, has been announced for this purpose. This is divided into a jury prize and an audience prize.
