1901 prima menzione della locanda di Trieb da parte della società corale maschile di Trieb.
Il proprietario Christian Schneider morì in un incidente nel 1905. Suo figlio Albert, macellaio e locandiere, gli subentrò all'età di 21 anni. Nel 1984 la locanda fu ristrutturata. Fu costruito un centro commerciale socialista. Nel 2005, l'attuale proprietario Uwe Schneider e la sua famiglia hanno riaperto la locanda.
