The impressive building on the edge of the old town of Leipzig stands out from afar. Architecturally, it is strongly reminiscent of the Berlin Reichstag. We invite you to join us on an entertaining and exciting tour of the former Imperial Court, which was established in 1879 as the highest court of the German Empire. Everywhere you look, you will find many clues to the city's and region's judicial tradition, architectural decorations by prominent artists, and the opulence of the interiors. We will talk about significant trials, such as the self-defense of Karl Liebknecht or the Reichstag fire trial.
