The New Town Hall in Leipzig was opened in 1905 during the heyday of the trade fair city. With its 900 offices and many representative halls, it was one of the largest, most opulent, and most expensive in the world at that time. With a height of 114 meters, an unusually tall town hall tower was built from which we will enjoy the view of the city at the end of the tour. The tower and the overall architecture in the style of historicism recall the formerly standing Pleißenburg. To ensure that the municipal employees are always reminded of their office, the architect had a snail designed on each door handle... Come along and see everything on our tour.
