The cross-country skiing circuit offers beautiful views of the Pöhlberg, the town of Ehrenfriedersdorf and the Erzgebirgskamm ridge.

Part of the cross-country ski trail runs across an open field, affording delightful views of the Pöhlberg, the town of Ehrenfriedersdorf and the Erzgebirgskamm ridge, while other sections run through the snow-covered winter forest. A short, steep hill at Staudtfeld and a long, gentler ascent/descent put the trail in the moderately difficult category. If you include a detour to the Evangelical Methodist Church, the circular trail becomes demanding due to the elevation gain. It therefore offers good training for ambitious recreational athletes.
