On the circular hiking trail around the Zeulenroda dam and the Weidatal dam you will have the opportunity to get to know a small part of the Thuringian Vogtland. When you go hiking in our beautiful nature, you are sure to get lots of ideas.

The Talsperrenweg was completed in 2009 and certified by the German Hiking Association as a "Quality Trail - Walkable Germany". The first section around the Zeulenroda dam was awarded the title in 2006. 89% of the trail is in its natural state. Idyllic streams, wooded areas, vantage points and the constant proximity to the water characterise the trail as a nature experience.

The entire circular trail is 45 km long. At the Talsperrenweg, there are 6 links to the trail that allow for different circular hikes of 3-18 km.
