Our cozy holiday home 3 Owls is located in the midst of the popular hiking and skiing area of the Altenberg region in the Ore Mountains in the district of Lauenstein. Here you can hike right from your doorstep / also go ski hiking.
Just 200 meters away is Lauenstein Castle, where daily falconry shows (closed on Mondays) take place, as well as the Ore Mountains Museum inviting exploration. Furthermore, you can have lunch at the "Falknerstüb'l" or enjoy delicious homemade cakes and ice cream.
A public bath can be reached in about 150 meters, sledding hill 200 meters away. Train station: 600 meters, Dresden Airport 63 km. In Geising, the nearest ski lift is 5.3 km away, Altenberg with lift or summer toboggan run, mining museum, bobsleigh track is 8.1 km away.
