Experience history outside the classroom

You will spend the night at Colditz Castle and discover the Escape Museum. The next day, the class sets off for Markkleeberg, where the journey through regional and world history begins at the Dölitz Gatehouse in the Tin Figure Museum. The excursion ends with a guided tour of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, which commemorates the historic Battle of the Nations against Napoleon in the autumn of 1813.

Tip:
If you want more action, then book rafting in rubber dinghies on the Mulde river! (Leisnig to Grimma route)
Alternatively, you can visit the permanent exhibition at Geschichtenhof Wyhra and experience how village life around 1900 is brought back to life. Educational activities such as baking in the farm oven and much more can be experienced here by school classes.
